Are you thinking about making a winter or holiday bucket list in your Bullet Journal!?
Bucket lists are one of my favourite ways to plan some fun activities to enjoy during the holidays, and winter is no exception! In this blog post, I am going to share how you can set up your bucket list in your Bullet Journal, as well as provide ideas and inspiration for your own bucket list!
What Is A Bucket List?
Bucket lists are a collection of your goals, dreams, and activities that you want to accomplish in a certain amount of time! You can create a bucket list for the year, a certain event, season of the year, or even the month ahead!
The Bucket List will also vary depending on personal preference. For some, it may be a simple list. For some, it may include images and photos, doodles, quotes, and anything else that will motivate and inspire you!
If you want to learn more about Bucket Lists, check out this really helpful post from bucketlistjourney.net.
Recommended Supplies For Your Winter Bucket List Layout
The supplies you need will depend on how artistic you are on your Bullet Journal layouts! On my layouts, you will see that my vision boards typically only contain really simple doodles and a lot of writing. That is just my personal preference, and I encourage you to use whatever supplies you will enjoy using for this process!
If you want to try painting, you will need to get some paints that will work well on the paper you are using. If you want to decorate your layouts without having to get too artistic, you might enjoy using stamps, stencils or even stickers!
My #1 Notebook Recommendation
Scribbles That Matter make really good quality notebooks, and since they are the notebooks I am currently using myself, they are also the notebook I recommend!
The notebooks feature 160 gsm paper, pages set up for journaling, and they come in a wide variety of colours. Check out their website here!
Pens
If you are going to be doodling, I would recommend getting some coloured pens! This will add a lot of variety to your doodles which will be extremely pleasing to look at! Here are some of my top pen recommendations for this kind of project!
Miscellaneous Supplies
To take your bucket list one step further, you could use these supplies:
- Stencils

How To Create A Simple Winter Bucket List Layout In Your Bullet Journal
The first step to creating a winter or holiday bucket list in your Bullet Journal is to get the basics of the page set up. On my layout below, you will see that I started with a really simple header that reads ‘Holiday Bucket List’. Below that, I doodled some cute little holiday light strands to add a small amount of decoration.

Your layout can be as simple as this, or you can get even more elaborate. I have included some more ideas and inspiration from Instagram to give you more ideas below!
When creating layouts like this, I highly recommend decorating after you have finished brainstorming your bucket list items and adding them to your layout. This will ensure you have enough room to include everything you want to include!
